Education

Muhlenberg College is the place that I currently call my home away from home.

There are about 2,200 students, which may seem a bit small, but there are still many opportunities that come with that in mind. Coming from Freehold High School, the smallest school in the district, this was an easy adjustment for me. I was already used to a small number of students, which alllows for faculty to really get to know students on a personal level. Professors get to give that special one-on-one attention, and for me personally, I love having that because it allows me to learn better. I could not imagine sitting in a lecture hall with 100 plus people and receiving the same quality of education that I am getting now. To this day, it brings a smile to my face when my first year seminar professor  says hello to me in the the student union, or when my Spanish professor stops me in the dining hall just to see how my semester is going. It gives that same small town feeling my high school provided me with, and without those feelings and sense of belonging, I would not be the person I am today.
